Yer rearrangin’ luggage,
not knowin’
where to go.
Your heart’s a been
an achin’
forlorn,
not fit to show.
When trouble
comes a knockin’,
you have to greet
that door.
Ain’t no use
for the hidin’
he’ll head for the
back door.
Best greet
that trouble
squarely,
he’ll not ‘spect
that approach.
Just stand and
make him cower,
it’ll shake him
like a ghost.
Invite him in
for coffee
and ply him
with a snack.
He’ll wonder
of your methods;
now he’s
feelin’ attacked.
Tell him
God’s got
your trouble,
His visit’s
wasted sure.
Today
you’ll send
that trouble,
a fleein’
out your door.
